Call to Order <br />Chair Croft called the Executive Session to order in the Superintendent's Office. <br />Pending Litigation <br />David Doneski of Kopelman & Paige updated the Committee on the TLT case. He reviewed the <br />major claim issues. He shared that there could be significant exposure to the town. If the School <br />Committee decides to pursue a settlement offer itneeds to be appealing to TLT to demonstrate <br />the Town is serious. <br />Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mr. Robinson, to authorize legal counsel to negotiate a <br />settlement offer with TLT up to $850,000. <br />Mr. Caruso asked clarifying questions regarding our financial options and offered an amendment <br />to the previous motion. <br />Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Borawski, to authorize legal counsel to negotiate a <br />settlement offer with TLT up to $900,000. The roll call vote carried 5-0. Mrs. Borawski, <br />Mr. Croft, Mr. Robinson, Dr. Snow Dockser and Mr. Caruso. <br />Mr. LeLacheur and Mr. Doneski left the meeting at 8:03 a.m. <br />Page 1 1 <br />
