Executive Session 9:30 p.m. <br />A. Call to Order <br />Chairperson Caruso called the Executive Session to order. <br />Litigation Update <br />Dr. Doherty updated the School Committee on the � case. It is moving toward trial. <br />There is a settlement meeting scheduled for this week. <br />RMHS Building Project <br />Dr. Doherty updated the School Committee on the TLT mediation. The first session was <br />cancelled because Harleysville did not send a principal. The agreement between all parties was <br />to have a principal at all mediation sessions. <br />School Safety <br />Dr. Doherty updated the School Committee on three incidents. <br />• The Reading Police Department will be releasing a press release regarding the incident in <br />the fall <br />• A letter from high school principal Freedman will be going to families regarding the <br />above incident <br />• An expulsion hearing will be held for the student that had a knife in school <br />Collective Bargaining <br />Dr. Doherty shared the RTA proposal and asked for guidance. The next negotiation meeting is <br />this Wednesday. <br />Mr. Hechenbleikner left the meeting. <br />
