Executive Session 7:47 p.m. A. Call to Order Chairperson Caruso called the Executive Session to order. Litigation Matters Mrs. Doucette updated the School Committee on the status of the litigation and mediation for the high school project. She described the process the mediator is using and feels it is a good approach because it is shaking out issues and enabling her to determine what direction these matters are heading. She indicated that the School Committee should extend the Additional Services Order with Design Partnership because there is approximately 4 hours left and she will need to communicate with them as this process goes on. The School Committee agreed and felt another $5,000 limit should be sufficient at this point. Mrs. Doucette left the meeting. Dr. Doherty updated committee on a conference call he and Mrs. Callan had with the attorney on another matter. The attorney is optimistic that the ® case will be settled out of court. If it is not the trial date is scheduled for the end of June. II. Adjournment Mr. Michaud moved, seconded by Mrs Gibbs, to return to open session. On a roll call vote the motion carries 6-0.
