Call to Order Chairperson Gibbs called the executive session to order at 9:01 p.m. II. Litigation Strategies Superintendent Schettini updated the School Committee on the litigation strategies with TLT. III. Negotiation Strategies Superintendent Schettini, Elaine Webb, and Chuck Robinson updated the school committee on teacher negotiations. The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Michaud, seconded by Mr. Caruso, to authorize the nellotiating subcommittee a salary cap increase of 2 1/2% in year 1, 2 1/2% in year 2, and 2 1/2% in year 3 to all unions with the exception of the educational assistant union which may be given a step rollover in addition to the cap increase Additional increases may be i ven depending upon concessions bargained during the negotiation process not to exceed 3% per year. Roll call vote 7-0. IV. Approval of Minutes Approval of Minutes The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Michaud, seconded by Mr. Caruso, to approve the executive session minutes of December 15 2007. Roll call vote 5-0-1. Mrs. Janowski abstained. IX. Adjournment The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Michaud, seconded by Ms. Webb, to move to adiourn. Roll call vote 6-0.
