Town of Reading <br />Meeting Minutes <br />e'e'n+ron <br />Board - Committee - Commission - Council: <br />Board of Library Trustees <br />Date: 2016-10-13 Time: 8:15 PM <br />Building: Reading Town Hall Location: Conference Room <br />Address: 16 Lowell Street <br />Purpose: Session: <br />Attendees: Members - Present: <br />Alice Collins, Cherry Dubois, David Hutchinson, Vicki Yablonsky <br />Members - Not Present: <br />John Brzezenski, Andrew Grimes <br />Others Present: <br />Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Alice Collins <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />Meeting called to order 8:15 pm <br />Dubois moved to approve October 5, 2016 minutes; Yablonsky 2nd; with all approving. <br />Proposed questions for the three finalists were reviewed and prioritized within each category as <br />assigned to Board Member. <br />First topic: <br />Financial Management and Advocacy presented by Hutchinson. Four questions were proposed. After <br />some discussion, #3 and #4 were combined. <br />Second topic: <br />Creativity; C. Dubois presented her questions as related to all aspects of position. <br />Third topic: <br />Technology, presented by Yablonsky. Again, 4 questions proposed with 2 being combined resulting in <br />3 questions. <br />Judi Perkins, HR Director, will schedule the 3 finalists to interview in first week of November. <br />Candidates will be asked to submit writing sample prior to interview. V. Yablonsky will prepare the <br />question for the writing sample response. They will also be given a "task" to present at time of <br />interview which will be prepared by Brzezenski. <br />Interim Director of RPL will be notified of the schedule of interviews as a tour of the building and staff <br />reception will be required. Interviews will be open to the public.
