Minutes of the Executive Session Board of Selectmen Meeting February 13, 1990 The session convened at 10:25 p.m. Present were Chairman Graham, . Vice Chairman Ziegler, Secretary Ensminger, Selectmen Nigro and Russell, and Town Manager Hechenbleikner. On motion by Ziegler, seconded by Ensminger the Board voted to approve the Executive Session minutes of January 16, 1990 by a vote of 3-0-2 with Graham and Russell abstaining. The Board discussed the status of Homart and written communica- tion from Homart and Town Counsel. Homart would like to have the interest on the $2,000,000 indemnity fund waived, the CPI es- calator waived, and have no late start penalty. The Board of Selectmen agreed to meet in Executive Session as a group with Bob Nordstrand, Tony Fletcher, Dick Howard, and Pete Hechenbleikner to review their options prior to sitting down and negotiating with Homart. The Board reviewed a letter from Bear Hill Realty Trust regarding the request that the Town hold the mortgage on the land and that the mortgage be taken down on a unit by unit basis. The Board felt that this was not acceptable but that they would consider other options. If there are no other alternatives then they will consider going back out to bid on this matter. The Board will meet Tuesday evening, 2-20-90, in Executive Ses- sion. On motion by Ensminger, seconded by Ziegler the Board voted to come out of Executive Session at 11:20 p.m. All members voting in the affirmative on a roll call vote the motion was carried 5- 0-0. On motion by Nigro, seconded by Russell the Board voted to ad- journ by vote of 5-0-0 at 11:21 p.m. Respectfully submitted: Secretary
