Minutes of the Board of Selectmen Executive Session
February 4, !992
The Executive Session convened at 10: 36 p.m. in the Conference
Room, Town Hall. Present were Chairman Eugene Nigro, Vice Chair-
man Dan Ensminger, Secretary Sally Hoyt, Selectmen Russ Graham
and George Hines, and Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner.
The Town Manager reviewed the draft outline of the Health In-
surance Agreement. There was discussion as to whether or not
there ought to be a sharing of any "savings" as a result of at-
trition or reduction in staff. The Town Manager indicated that
the employees have felt a significant increase in health in-
surance costs this year and if we could offset these costs by
level funding for FY93 we might be able to further offset some
the cost increases.
On motion by Ensminger seconded by Hoyt the Board voted 4 to 1 to
reconsider its rejection of the settlement with the Firefighters
regarding two cases of arbitration and one LRC case. Hines voted
in the negative.
On motion by Graham seconded by Hoyt a motion to approve the
settlement with the Firefighters on this issue was not approved
by a vote of 1-4-0 with Graham voting in the affirmative.
On motion by Hines seconded by Ensminger the Board voted to ad-
journ at 11: 05 p.m. with all five members voting in the affirma-
tive.
Respectfully submitted:
Secrete
Y
