Board of Selectmen Meeting <br /> Executive Session <br /> - June 2, 1998 <br /> The meeting convened at 7:02 p.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room, 16 Lowell Street, <br /> Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman Camille Anthony, Vice Chairman Bruce <br /> MacDonald, Secretary Sally Hoyt, Selectman Matt Nestor, Town Manager Peter <br /> Hechenbleikner. <br /> Sale of Real Estate—Grove Street Lot <br /> The Board discussed Sidelinker's proposal for the Foster Emerson House. The Board asked for <br /> the following information: <br /> 1. A definite list of contractors who will be working on the house with a list of their <br /> experience. If the Sidelinkers are going to be doing some of the work, their <br /> experience should be noted. <br /> 2. The minimum cost of$61,000. <br /> 3. Meeting all the terms of the RFP. <br /> MacDonald noted that this seems like a reasonable proposal. This will be 98% of the funds that <br /> would be generated by the Friends' proposal. <br /> On motion by MacDonald seconded by Hoyt, the Board of Selectmen voted to use the above as <br /> the Town's negotiating position with an answer no later than 6/23/98. On a roll call vote, all four <br /> members present voted in the affirmative and the motion was carried. <br /> Matt Nestor was designated as the Board of Selectmen member to be involved in this discussion <br /> negotiation. <br /> On motion by MacDonald seconded by Hoyt, the Board voted to adjourn their meeting of June 2, <br /> 1998 at 7:29 p.m. on a roll call vote with all four members present voting in the affirmative. <br /> Res�ectfully submitted, <br /> e� <br /> creta Jr <br />
