Board of Selectmen Meeting <br /> Executive Session <br /> March 16, 1999 <br /> The Executive Session convened at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, 16 Lowell Street, <br /> Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman Bruce MacDonald, Vice Chairman Sally Hoyt, <br /> Secretary Matthew Nestor, Selectman Camille Anthony, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, <br /> Assistant Town Manager Russell Dean, Town Counsel H Theodore Cohen, and Paula Schena. <br /> Discussion/Action Items <br /> Sale of Real Estate- The Town Manager reviewed the Letter of Intent. <br /> Camille Anthony referenced the first paragraph on page 8 where it states, "The Town agrees to <br /> cooperate with Corporex in connection with any attempt by Corporex to have DEP reduce the <br /> time period of its monitoring obligation." She felt the Town was "boxed in" by agreeing with <br /> any attempt. Town Counsel noted the wording could be changed to "...in connection with any <br /> reasonable attempt..." <br /> Camille Anthony asked how will the leasee know what is expected of them. Town Counsel <br /> noted there will be a lease on record. Camille Anthony noted that someone or a department has <br /> to be the owner of the records. The Town Manager noted that the Town Clerk is the keeper of <br /> the records. <br /> On motion by Hoyt seconded by Anthony, the Board voted to adjourn the Executive Session of <br /> March 16, 1999 at 7:28 p.m. On a roll call vote, all four members voted in the affirmative and <br /> the motion was carried. <br /> Res e Gully§ubmitted, <br /> J sv `/ r <br /> / m x <br /> c taryj <br />
