Chase opens the meeting at 7:05pm. J. Feudo speaks on his decision for leaving <br />and the great opportunity that was presented to him. He thanks the committee <br />for all their service and each committee member at the table commented on <br />John's success as the Director of Community Services -Recreation Administrator <br />throughout the years. The Recreation Committee presents J. Feudo with a gift. <br />P. Coumounduros gives a Friends of Reading Recreation update. He tells the <br />committee that there were 109 runners in the Middle School Cross Country Program. <br />He goes on to give an outline of dates for other events being run by FORR. P. <br />Coumounduros also presents John with a gift plaque from FORR committee members <br />and thanks John for his years of service. <br />J. Feudo distributes the memo on Pearl Street. He will give the memo to the <br />residents on Pearl, the Residences at Pearl Street, and RUSC. <br />G. Fiorente gives an update on programming. She states October will be a busy <br />programming month with Travel Basketball Tryouts, Downtown Trick or Treat, <br />Halloween Parade, and interviews for Sunday Basketball Staff. She gives dates to <br />committee members to see if anyone is available to help. <br />R. Hand gives an update on RCASA. He says there were 150 people at the Annual <br />Meeting. He hands the committee reference sheets with the information that was <br />discussed. He also gives some information related to the vote on the ballot in <br />November. The committee briefly discusses the hand outs and the question on the <br />ballot. <br />J. Feudo gives a project update on Birch Meadow Master Plan and Coolidge Field. <br />He says RUSC and LAX pitched in to do the reno of the field and the Master Plan is <br />still in the works.
