Docktor made motion to accept, seconded by
Shurland. Motion passed 3:0
Monthly Reports
Only 5 routine food inspections were performed due to having only one inspector and an
increase in the number of housing complaints. Casey Mellin, health inspector resigned
effective May 23, 2016; the position has not been posted as of this date. Ristorante
Pavarotti was given fifteen day notice to provide ServSafe and allergen training
certifications for kitchen staff. A Market Basket customer purchased some loose lobster
meat that contained a staple. Notification was received three weeks after having made the
purchase. Follow up investigation found the lobster meat was processed in Boston and that
no preparation occurred at Market Basket. An unusual number of rodent complaints were
received in three areas of town. Due to the larger than normal amount of complaints, an
advisory letter with tips for homeowners to safeguard their property is to be mailed to those
in the affected neighborhoods. The letter has been sent to the Town's ombudsman for
approval.
Page I 1
