(W READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of September 16, 1986 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Monday, September 15, 11986 <br />at 7:30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts. <br />Notice of this meeting had been properly posted in accordance with the By- laws.! <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Dempster. Those members a so <br />present and forming a quorum were: Ms. Swain, Mr. Westra and Mr. White. Ms. Pl nsky, <br />the Executive Director, was also present. <br />The Chairman asked that the proposed Executive Session for the purpose of dis- <br />cussing personnel matters be deferred. Notice of the executive session had <br />been given to the Section 8 Administrator /office Administrative Assistant, <br />Ms. Renzello, and the Executive Director, Ms. Plansky, in accordance with the <br />rules governing 'Open Meeting Law ". <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Swain and seconded by Mr. Westra, 'it was unandmio sly <br />VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the regular meeting of August 11, <br />1986, copies of iahich had been previously distributed to the members for their <br />review. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Ms. Swain, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: to approve and sign the checks and billroll for 667 -C in the amount. of <br />$13,310.21. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />The Board then reviewed the financial statement and accepted this report as <br />prepared. <br />After some discussion, the Board deferred any action on salary schedule for <br />employees until after the proposed executive session. <br />New Tenant Selection Regulations - Emergency Case Plan <br />No further information for discussion was available for the emergency case plans. <br />The Board deferred action on this matter until a subsequent meeting. <br />I <br />Report of Programs <br />,A brief summary of progress of programs under the jurisdiction of the Housing <br />Authority was given to the Board members in their packet. The Board briefly <br />discussed the impact that the closing of the Community Center has had on the <br />increase in activities held atl the Authority recreation hall. <br />
