READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting - November 12. 1980 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Wednesday, Nov ber <br />12, 1980 at 7x30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Mss ch- <br />usetts. Notice had been properly posted and noted that the date was not cons stent <br />with the regularly scheduled date of the second Monday of the month. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Xr. Dempster. Those members <br />also present were Mr. Westra, Mr. Ogden and Mr. Johnson, forming a quorum. Mrs. <br />Pierce, the Executive Director and Patricia Renzello, Section 8 Administrator were <br />also present. A representative group from the League of Women Voters was sitting in <br />on the Meeting _a7:so. <br />mously: Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was <br />VOTED: To accept for the record, the Minutes of the Regular meeting h Id on <br />October 7th and the Special Meeting of October 21st, copies of which had prev ously <br />been mailed to all members. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Ogden, it was <br />VOTED: To approve and pay checks and bills in the amount of $5,597.30 <br />667 -C and 1,,506.67 for Section 8. Also, to ratify the signing during the.ma <br />of checks for Section 8 in the amount of $346.74, and the Modernisation Progr <br />for $1,768.90. A listing of these checks is attached hereto and made a part <br />these Minutes, and had been previously mailed to all members. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Mrs. Pierce reported to the members that the balance in the BayBank Middlesex <br />checking account for 667-C was $1,575.12 as of October 31, 1980. As of the date of <br />this Meeting, after payment of the checks approved above, the glance in this account <br />was $6,539.82. This included a deposit of $3,651 which was sent by E.O.C.D. aj, the <br />forward funded payment on the annual deficit for the current quarter. <br />At -this time, a motion was made by Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. <br />and unanimously: <br />VOTED: To deposit $5,000 from the checking account into the M.M.D.T. <br />account to obtain the interest. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and std vote in effectf, and a <br />check was drawn and signed. <br />The balance in the M.M.D.T. account as of November 1, 1980 was $22,415.2 1. <br />It was also reported that all rents, in the amount of $6,911.00, were collected <br />for the month of November. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Ogden and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it <br />„ras unanimously: <br />VOTED: To accept the Financial Report as read. <br />1. <br />
