READING HOUSDIG AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting- August 11, 1980 <br />(W The members of the Reading Housing Authority met in regular session at <br />7 :30 P.M. on Monday, August 11, 1980 at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of <br />Reading, Massachusetts. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Dempster. Those - <br />members also present Were Mr. Westra and Mr. Ogden, farming a quorum. Mrs. Pierce, <br />the Executive Director, was also present. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Ogden, it was <br />unanimouslys <br />VOTEDs To accept for the record, the Minutes of the regular meeting <br />held July 1?, 1980 and the special meeting of July 21, 1980, copies of which <br />had previously been mailed to all members. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Ogden and seconded by Mr. Westra, it was <br />unanimously: <br />VOTED: To approve and pay checks and bills, a list of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part of these Minutes and previously mailed to all members, in <br />the amount of $5,684.85 for 667 -C. Also to ratify a check in the amount of <br />$9,000 of July 21st to M.M.D.T. savings account, from a $10,597 State Subsidy <br />heck . <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Mrs. Pierce reported that the balance in the BayBank Checking Account <br />as of July 31, 1980 was $1,700.89 for 667-0. As of the date of this meeting, <br />with payment of the above checks due at this time, the balance was $2,307.04. <br />On that day, a deposit of $6,007 was made to the BayBank, $5928 of which was <br />the balance of the State Subsidy for Fiscal 1980, making a balance in this ac- <br />count of $8,314.04. <br />At this time, a motion was made by Mr. Ogden and seoonded by Mr. Westra, <br />and unanimously: <br />Vas To draw a check in the amount of $7,000 from the BayBank Checking <br />Account to be deposited into the M.M.D.T. savings account for 667 -C. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Mrs. Pierce reported that the balance in the M.M.D.T. account before the <br />above deposit was $21,110.74 plus interest. Also, that all rents for the month <br />of August were collected in the amount of $6,291.00. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Ogden, it was <br />unanimously: <br />(, VOTED: To accept the Financial Report as read. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />WE <br />
