READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting - April 15, 1980 <br />The members of the Reading Housing Authority met in regular session <br />at 7 :30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 1980, at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the <br />Town of Reading, Massachusetts. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. White. Those <br />members also present were Mr. Dempster, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Ogden and Mr. Westr�, <br />forming a quorum. Mrs. Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. <br />A motion made by Mr. Dempster and seconded by Mr. Johnson was <br />unanimouslys <br />VOTEDt That the Secretary's Report for the meeting held March 110 <br />1980 be accepted as read. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect.! <br />A motion was made by Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Dempster, and <br />unanimously: <br />VOTED: To approve and pay checks and bills, a list of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part of these Minutes, in the amount of $9,247.85' <br />for 667 -C. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect,', <br />and the checks were signed. <br />At this time, the Board reviewed the Quarterly Operating Statement <br />for the period ended March 31, 1980, and all line items seemed to be in line <br />with the budgeted figures for this particular time period. Mrs. Pierce them <br />reported that the balance in the BayBank M jdlesecchecking account as of <br />March 31st was $802.78, for 667 -C. <br />As of the date of thh meeting, with all of the above checks to be <br />paid, the balance in this account would be a deficit of $2,181.07. Mrs. <br />Pierce reminded the members that as of April 1st, the new forward funding <br />regulation was going into effect, and the Authority should be receiving a <br />portion of the annual deficit soon. However, in the meantime, in order to <br />cover expenses, a motion was made by Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Westra, <br />and unanimouslys <br />VOTED: To withdraw $3,000 from the M.M.D.T. account for current <br />payments. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />It was also reported that the balance in the M.M.D.T. account was <br />$22,984.70 and that all rents for the month of April had been paid in the <br />amount of $6,264.00. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Ogden and seconded by Mr. Westra, it was <br />unanimously: <br />VOTED: To accept the Financial Report as read. <br />1. <br />
