The proposed addition does not comply
with the required setback of 20'.
Ms. Nancy Twomey, architect for the project, described the lot, dwelling and project. She said,
the proposed project would not affect the neighbors.
Mr. Redfern questioned if Glidden Way was a private road. Ms. Twomey confirmed the Town
never accepted the road as a public street.
Mr. Traniello had no questions.
Mr. Jarema asked for the original site plan from when the dwelling was built in 1966. He
questioned what the developer considered to be the property frontage. Ms. Twomey stated she
spoke to Mr. Redmond, Zoning Officer, about this concern. She agreed the property is confusing
on what should be considered the side, rear or front yard.
Mr. Caouette questioned why Mr. Redmond's denial letter stated a Variance would be needed.
Mr. Redfern read the email from Mr. Redmond in regards to this case. The email stated he had
no concern with the proposal if a Special Permit was issued.
Page I 1
