READ - <br />ING HOUSING AUTHORITY Wfj <br />Minutes of the Meeting of December 10, 1989 <br />A regular business meeting of the bers of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on December l�, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. at the office <br />of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, <br />Massachusetts. Proper notice of this meeting had been posted <br />with the Town Clerk in accordance with the Open Meeting Law, <br />Chapter 39, M.G.L. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, <br />Mr. Dempster, at 7:30 P.M. with Mr. Sweet, Mr. McIsaac, and Ms. <br />Galvin present and forming a quorum. Ms. Plansky, the Executive <br />Director, was also in attendance. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly mae by Mr. Sweet and seconded by Mr. McIsaa, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the Meeting of <br />November 20, 1989 as presented. Copies of these minutes had <br />been previously distributed to the Board for their review. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. McIsaac and seconded by Mr. Swept, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the billroll /checkroll for the period <br />from check #2409 through 2457 as presented. A list of checks <br />had been distributed to the members for their review. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Office Redesign - The current physical space for the office pe sonnel <br />is not efficient and is not conducive to a productive work env ronment. <br />The Executive Director had reviewed with several business office <br />suppliers /designers a redistribution of the current office spa e. <br />A sketch for moving the dividing wall between the current hall desk <br />space, opening up the front hall closet into the office area <br />and reconfiguring the interior spaces was presented to the Board <br />along with a cost estimate for new office furniture /equipment <br />that would be needed to accomodate the new design features. <br />Mr. McIsaac reviewed the sketch and asked the Director to secu e <br />quotes from "Steelcase" as well as from the Hahn office equipm nt <br />company. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. McIsaac and seconded <br />by Ms. Galvin, it was unanimously <br />
