READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of November 20 , 1989 <br />I' <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Hous ng <br />Authority was held on November 20, 1989 at 5:45 P.M. at the o fice <br />of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, in the Town of Re ding, <br />Massachusetts. As there was a question of proper posting of <br />the meeting held on November 13, 1989, the Board duly posted <br />notice of the November 20, 1989 and met to consider and discuss <br />all matters considered at the November 13, 1989 meeting. Thel <br />meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Richard S. Dempster. <br />Those members present and forming a quorum were Mr. Sweet, Mrs <br />McIsaac, Ms. Galvin and Mr. Reynolds. The Executive Director <br />Margaret K. Plansky, was also present along with the Fee Accountants <br />for the Authority, Teresa Ewald and Chris Gustus of Fenton & <br />Ewald. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. McIsaac and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve the minutes of the meeting of October 12, <br />1989 as presented. Copies of these minutes had been previous <br />distributed to the Board for their review. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />vinnnncc <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve the checkroll /billroll for the period f <br />#2340 through #2408 as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Ly <br />t, <br />Teresa Ewald then presented the budgets for FY'90. As Ms. Ewald <br />explained, the State has been delayed in presenting budget guidelines <br />and caps for the next fiscal year. New guidelines provide for <br />a 0% bottom line increase with a 3% salary increase overall. <br />In order to accomodate the salaries for the staff, the Section <br />8 program, having just acquired 10 more units, will be picking <br />up a share of the salary increases. The secretarial position <br />will be covered under MOD and a small percentage apportioned) <br />to the regular programs. <br />667 -C Budget - Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and s�conded <br />by Mr. McIsaac, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve the FY 90 budget for the 667 -C Program (Frank <br />D. Tanner Drive) as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />
