READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of July 10, 1989 <br />A regular business meeting of the Reading Housing Authority was <br />held on Monday, July 10, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. at the office of the <br />Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Mas; <br />Mr. Richard S. Dempster, Chairman, presided. Those members pre: <br />and forming a quorum were: Ms. Galvin and Mr. Reynolds. The <br />Executive Director, Ms. Plansky, was also present. <br />Pinanr-ac <br />The Board reviewed the checkroll /billroll for the period. Upon <br />a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Ms. Galvin, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checks through #2174 for the <br />period as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Minutes <br />The Board deferred any action on approval of minutes to a subs <br />meeting when more members are in attendance. <br />Linkage Programs - Greenhouse Acres <br />Mr. Jim David of the Fafard Corporation was present to discuss <br />the timetable for acquisition of the Pleasant Street property. <br />The four (4) units associated with the townhouse development <br />are ready for sale. The Chairman toured the property with the <br />D.irector.on Saturday, July 8, 1989. Final approval will be giv <br />when the "punch list" items.are corrected and the home inspecti <br />by a qualified home inspector has_ been submitted and "cost to <br />cure" and a punch list have been established by the inspector. <br />achusetts. <br />ent <br />ent <br />Fafard is still in negotiation with the owners to acquire property <br />to construct the additional eight (8) family units and four (4) <br />2- bedroom elderly unit:s. The Authority will be kept informed <br />of the progress in this development. <br />Parcnnnal <br />The Board reviewed vacation policy for the Executive Director <br />in accordance with their annual review. Upon a motion duly made <br />by Mr. Dempster and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, it was unanimously <br />
