READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />June 13, 1988 <br />A regular meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on June 13, 1988 at the office of the <br />Authority. The meeting was called to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />Richard S. Dempster, the Chairman presided. Other members <br />present were Arthur J. Reynolds, William E. McIsaac and Philip <br />R. White, Jr. <br />On motion duly made by Mr. McIsaac and seconded by Mr. <br />Reynolds, it was <br />VOTED: To approve the minutes of the meeting held on May <br />9, 1988 as circulated with the addition on page two <br />after the list of officers elected the following:] <br />"Assistant Secretary Philip R. White, Jr." <br />The members reviewed and discussed the financial <br />information provided to them. It was noted rents for the 6671, <br />program in the amount of $10,599 had been received. On motion <br />duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. McIsaac, it was <br />VOTED: To approve the expenditure of $17,606.57 for the <br />667 program and the expenditure of $968.00 for th <br />705 program and to authorize the signing of the <br />checks. <br />The members discussed the situation at Waverly Road. It <br />was the consensus the executive director check with the Board' <br />of Public Works the condition of Waverly Road and the <br />installation of safety improvements on Arthur B. Lord Drive <br />such as lights and a traffic island at Birch Meadow Drive. <br />
