READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF JANUARY 4, 1968 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Monday, January <br />4, 1988 at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in Reading, Massachusetts. Notice of <br />this meeting had been properly posted in accordance with the Open Meeting <br />Law. <br />Chairman Dempster called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. with Mr. <br />i cIsaar_, Ms. Carlson and Mr. Reynolds present and forming a quorum. <br />Margaret Plansky, the Executive Director, was also present at the meeting. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. White, it was <br />unanimously <br />VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the Meeting of December <br />14, 1987 as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. Mcisaac, it <br />was unanimously voted to approve the checkroll /biilroli for the month of <br />December totalling $111,904.92 and to sign the checks. Rents for the month <br />total I ed 10,098 for 667; 985 for 705 Program. <br />The acting Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effer_t. <br />The budget for the initial operating period for the 705 Program will be <br />presented by the Accountant at next month's meeting. Due to the change in <br />units under operation there will be salary adjustments to be made. <br />Report of Programs <br />667 Program - The State has awarded the Authority an additional <br />$495,:30.00 for modernization of the Frank D. Tanner Drive complex. <br />Included in this modernization proposal will be additional <br />office /maintenance storage areas, plumbing improvements, alterations to <br />apartments to accommodate the stoves, paving and other exterior work to <br />the buildings. <br />
