READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of May 25, 1989 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Hou: <br />Authority was held on May 25, 1989 at the office of the Authoril <br />22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting <br />was called to order at 7:30 P.M. Richard S. Dempster, Chairman, <br />presided. Other members present and forming a quorum were: Mr. <br />Reynolds and Ms. Galvin. The Executive Director was also in <br />attendance. <br />vi nnnr-Pc <br />The Board reviewed the checkroll /billroll for the period throug] <br />check #2097. Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Galvin and secondec <br />by Mr. Reynolds, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll through checl <br />#2097 as submitted. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />705/667 - Acquisition <br />The Board reviewed the grant award from the Executive Office <br />of Communities and Development. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. <br />Reynolds and seconded by Ms. Galvin, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To authorize the Chairman to sign any and all documental <br />in connection with the Contract For Financial Assistance betweei <br />the Reading Housing Authority and the Executive Office of Commui <br />and Development for 12 units of 705 (Family) Housing and 4 unit: <br />of 667 (Elderly /Handicapped) Housing. The total grant amount <br />is $1,390,00.00: 705= $1,045,000.00; 667 = $345,000.00. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />The Board then requested that the Executive Director forward <br />a letter from the Authority to Fafard Corporation regarding req <br />before signing of purchase and sale agreement. <br />There being no further business before the Board, it was unan <br />voted to adjourn at 7:55 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitte , <br />Margar K.
