READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Business Meeting - September 19, 1988 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular sessim dii Fldriday, <br />September 19, 1988 at 7:30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of <br />Reading, Massachusetts. Notice of this meeting had been properly posted <br />in accordance with the By-laws and Open Meeting Law. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Dempster. Those <br />members present and forming a quorum were: Mr. White, Ms. Carlson, Mr. <br />Reynolds, and Mr. Mclsaac. Ms. Plansky, the Executive Director was also <br />present for this meeting. Representatives from the Fafard Corporation, <br />Harry Mack, Jim Davis and Janice Hannert, were also present for a portion <br />of the meeting. <br />Minutes <br />The Board reviewed the minutes for August 8, 1988. Upon a motion duly <br />made by Mr. White and seconded by Mr. Mclsaac, it was unanimously <br />NOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the meeting of August 8, <br />1988. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made bny Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. Mclsaac, it <br />was unanimously <br />VOTED. To approve and to sign all checks for the period from *1522 <br />through *1590. Rent receipts for month for the 667 (Elderly /Handicapped) <br />totaled $ "10,79o, Rent for 705 (Family) totaled $91&, and for 689 (Special <br />Needs) total $700. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />The Board reviewed the contract for accounting services from the firm of <br />Richard Scott Fenton, CPA of Needham for accounting services for the next <br />year in accordance with the schedule approved by EOCD. The new monthly <br />accounting fee, excluding the modernization program, will be $510.00. <br />
