READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Business Meeting - July 11.1988 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Monday, July 11, 1908 <br />at 7:30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, <br />Massachusetts. Notice of this meeting had been properly posted in <br />accordance with the By -laws and Open Meeting Law. <br />The meeting was called to or er by the Vice- Chairman, Mr. Mclsaac acting as <br />Chairman. Those members resent and forming a quorum were: Mr. Mclsaac <br />and Ms. Carlson. Ms. Plansky, the Executive Director, and Lucie Cripps from <br />EMARC were also present. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr, Reynolds and seconded by Ms. Carlson, it was <br />unanimously <br />VOTED: To ac t for the record the minutes of the meeting of June 13, 19881 e <br />AS-amendect. Copies of these minutes had been previously distributed to <br />Board members for their review. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Ms. Plansky was also asked to draft a letter to be sent to the Board of <br />Selectmen and Peter Hechenbleikner, Town Manager, regarding the deletion of <br />the construction of the safety island and other roadwork /sidewalk work at <br />Waverly and Oakland Roads. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Ms. Carlson, it was <br />unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the month of July in <br />the amount of 316,520.18 through check's 1486. Rent receipts for the month <br />for 667 (Housing for Elderly /Handicaped) program totalled $11,231.00; rents <br />for 705 (Family Housing) Program total $968.00; and the rent for the 689 <br />(Special Needs Housing) program was $700.00. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Carlson and seconded by Mr. Mclsaac, it was <br />unanimously <br />
