READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of May 14, 1992 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was.held on Thursday, May 14, 1992 at 7:00 P.M. at the <br />office of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, in the Town <br />of Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting was called to order at <br />7:00 P.M. with Mr. Reynolds as acting Chairman. Those members <br />present and forming a quorum were: Ms. Galvin and Mr. Allen. <br />The Executive Director, Ms. Plansky, was also in attendance. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Galvin and seconded by Mr. Allen, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and accept for the record the minutes of the <br />meeting of April 13, 1992 as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Finances <br />The Board reviewed the checkroll /billroll for the period as prese <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galvin, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the period <br />from check #4080 through $4142 inclusively. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Computer: The computer has been installed along with the hardwar <br />The staff is currently imputing information for both the State <br />and Federal programs. The staff will be attending classes for <br />computer training in June /July to further acquaint themselves <br />with the operation and functions of the computer system. Mr. <br />Allen also recommended that we investigate obtaining our computer <br />checks directly from the bank as this could be a cost saving to <br />the Authority. <br />Copier: Results of the RFQ for copiers was received and reviewed <br />by the Board. The copier committee recommended the purchase of <br />the Xerox copiers with the 3 -year all- inclusive warranty. Action <br />on this matter was deferred until the next meeting. <br />ted. <br />Labor & Industries: Maintenance Wage Rates - The new maintenance <br />wage rates for the Maintenance man was received after filing of <br />Mr. Stapleton's protest. The new rate will be $13.14 per hour <br />and is effective April 1, 1992. The rate for the second maintenance <br />position has also been received and will be $11.74. This position <br />will be effective July 1, 1992. <br />
