READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of August 3, 1992 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on Monday, August 3, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at the <br />office of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town <br />of Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting was called to order at <br />7:30 P.M. with the Chairman, Mr. McIsaac, presiding. Those members <br />present and forming a quorum were: Mr. Reynolds, Ms. Galvin and <br />Mr. Allen. The Executive Director, Ms. Plansky, and the Fee Acc untant, <br />Ms. Ewald, were also in attendance. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Reynolds and seconded by Mr. Allen, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and accept for the record the minutes of the <br />meeting of July 14, 1992, as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Pi nnnncic <br />The Board reviewed the checkroll /billroll for the period as pres nted. <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galvin, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the perio <br />from Check #161 through 209 (Voided checks 161 -165; 187, 207, 20 ) <br />as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Accounting Contract <br />The Board reviewed an agreement to continue the current accounting <br />contract for an additional ninety (90) days, effective end date <br />will be September 30, 1992, with all terms and conditions to remain <br />in effect. Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Galvin and seconded <br />by Mr. Reynolds, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the ninety ('90) day continuation to <br />the current Accounting Services Contract with Fenton, Ewald & <br />Associates, to expire on September 30, 1992, with all terms and <br />conditions to remain in full force and effect. Before that time <br />we expect to receive some clarification from HUD regarding their <br />directive for bidding for accounting services. Under Chapter <br />30B, such services should be exempt. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />
