READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meetin of October 5, 1992 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on Monday, October 5, 1992 at the office of <br />the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading <br />Massachusetts. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with <br />the Chairman, Mr. McIsaac, presiding. Those members present a d <br />forming a quorum were: Mr. Allen and Mr. Reynolds. The Execu ive <br />Director was also in attendance. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and accept for the record the minutes of the <br />Meeting of September 14, 1992. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Finnnr <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the billroll /payroll for the period <br />from Check #356 -410 inclusive, as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Contract for Accounting Services <br />The Executive Director was requested to forward a letter to HUD <br />notifying them of the Authority's intention to renew the contract <br />with Fenton, Ewald and Associates. After researching M.G.L., <br />Chapter 30B, accounting services is excluded from bidding; and <br />it appears that under Federal regulations, 24 CFR 85.36, advertising <br />for competitive bids for these services is not required. <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To renew the contract for accounting services with Fent n, <br />Ewald and Associates for the Fiscal Year 93, ending June 30, 19 3. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />effect. <br />Banking Services - BayBank <br />The Executive Director reported back that Bank of Boston no lon er <br />has a VISA card, and therefore an application for a card at Bay ank <br />was obtained. <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and authorize the Executive Director to open <br />
