READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of January 10, 1994 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on Monday, January 10, 1994 at 7:30 P.M. <br />at the office of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, in <br />the Town of Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting was called to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. with Mr. Sweet, acting Chairman, presiding. <br />Those members present and forming a quorum were: Ms. Galvin a d <br />Mr. Allen. Ms. Plansky, the Executive Director, was also in <br />attendance. <br />Minutes <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galv n, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the following <br />meetings, as presented: <br />Regular session of December 13, 1993; <br />Executive session of December 13, 1993, not to be released <br />until real estate negotiations had been concluded; <br />Regular session of December 27, 1993. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Finances <br />Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galvin, <br />it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the period <br />from check #1302 -1336 inclusive; and payroll checks #160 -183 <br />inclusive. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Section 8 Voucher Limits <br />After reviewing the implemented voucher limits, the Executive <br />Director recommended that the limits be lowered to assure that <br />there the Section 8 Voucher Contract would be sufficient to cover <br />the costs over the 5 year period. Upon a motion duly made by <br />Ms. Galvin and seconded by Mr. Allen, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve the following voucher limits for the Section 8 <br />Program: <br />1 bedroom - $625 <br />2 bedroom - $750 <br />3 bedroom - $950 <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />
