READING HOUSING AUTHORITY Minutes of the Meeting of January 10, 1994 A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing Authority was held on Monday, January 10, 1994 at 7:30 P.M. at the office of the Authority, 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with Mr. Sweet, acting Chairman, presiding. Those members present and forming a quorum were: Ms. Galvin a d Mr. Allen. Ms. Plansky, the Executive Director, was also in attendance. Minutes Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galv n, it was unanimously VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the following meetings, as presented: Regular session of December 13, 1993; Executive session of December 13, 1993, not to be released until real estate negotiations had been concluded; Regular session of December 27, 1993. The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. Finances Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Allen and seconded by Ms. Galvin, it was unanimously VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the period from check #1302 -1336 inclusive; and payroll checks #160 -183 inclusive. The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. Section 8 Voucher Limits After reviewing the implemented voucher limits, the Executive Director recommended that the limits be lowered to assure that there the Section 8 Voucher Contract would be sufficient to cover the costs over the 5 year period. Upon a motion duly made by Ms. Galvin and seconded by Mr. Allen, it was unanimously VOTED: To approve the following voucher limits for the Section 8 Program: 1 bedroom - $625 2 bedroom - $750 3 bedroom - $950 The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote in effect.
