READING HOUSING AUPHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting - November 9, 1982 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, Novem <br />9, 1982 at 7:30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Mass. <br />Notice of this Meeting had been properly posted in accordance with the By -La <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Dempster. Those <br />members also present were Mr. Johnson and Mr. Rand; forming a quorum. Mrs. <br />Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. 1 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Rand and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was unani- <br />mously: <br />.VOTED: To accept for the record, the Minutes of the Regular Meeting . <br />held October 12, 19820 copies of which had previously been mailed to all members <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Another motion was made by Mr. Rand and seconded by Mr. Johnson, and <br />unanimously: <br />VOTED: To approve the payment of checks and bills for 667-0 in the <br />amount of 7,7.52.03s for Section 8 in the amount of $1,631.34; and for the <br />new 689-1 Project in the amount of $425.00. Copies of the,-.]List of these <br />checks had been previously mailed to all members, and are made a part of these <br />Minutes. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said notion carried and said vote in effect, ai <br />the checks were signed. <br />Mrs. Pierce reported that the balance in the BayBank Middlesex checking <br />account for 667-0 was $18,115.06 as of October 31, 1982. This included a che+ <br />for subsidy from F*CD of $16,608 which had just been deposited. The balance <br />the M.M.D.T. savings account was $20,114.32 plus interest as of the date of th. <br />meeting, a a! $6,493 of that amount is being held for the Modernisation Program <br />All rents for the month of November have been collected, totalling $8,596.00. <br />At this point, a notion was made by Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. <br />and unanimously: <br />VOrE�D: To deposit $18,500 into the savings account from the checking <br />account for interest, and to approve the Financial Report as read. <br />The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Patricia Rensello, the Section 8 Administrator, was present at this timq <br />to discuss with the Board, several items concerning the Section 8 Program. St <br />first reported on the Existing Program, under which 53 units are currently unde <br />lease of the 55 wader Contract with HUD, - 31 of the S3 are family and 22 are <br />elderly. Under the Mobility Program the Authority is the issuing h9st to the <br />Authority and the Medford Housing Authority for one unit each, and the host to <br />one unit in North Reading. <br />Lynn <br />1. <br />
