READING HOUSING AUTHORITY (W Minutes of the Regular and Annual Meeting -April 13, 1982 The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, April 13, at 7 :30 P.M. at 22 Frank D.-Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts. of this meeting had been properly posted in accordance with the By -Laws. L982 lotice The Chairman, Mr. Dempster, called the meeting to order. Those members als present were Mr. Westra, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. White, forming a quorum. Mrs. Pie ce, the Executive Director, was also present. Before going into the regular order of business, a motion was made by Mr. White and seconded by Mr. Westra, and unanimouslys VOTED: That the meeting go into Executive Session to discuss a situation which has arisen with an applicant for Housing. The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect .After some attention to this matter, a motion was made by Mr. White and by Mr. Westra, and unanimously: VOTEDs That the meeting go out of Executive Session. The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect At this time, a motion was made by Mr. White and seconded by Mr. Johnson, }animous ly : VOTED: That subject to the submission of legal documents to the Authority Office by Mr. Rudolph Powers to the effect that he is being evicted from his current address, and that he applied for housing in March of 1977, he be given the next available vacancy. The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect Getting back to the regular order of business, a motion was made by Mr. Johnson, and seconded by Mr. Westra, and unanimously: VOTEDs To accept for the record, the Minutes of the regular meeting held March 8, 1982, copies of which had previously been mailed to all members. The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect Upon a motion made by Mr. White and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was unanimo4sly: VOTED: To approve and pay checks and bills for 667 -C in the amount of $13,125.83 and for Section 8 in the amount of $5,061.82 (includes deposit into savings of $11,000.). A list of these checks had been previously mailed to all members, and are attached and made a part of these Minutes.
