READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting - November 10, 1981 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, Novemt <br />10, 1981 at 7:30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Massa <br />usetts. This date was a departure from the regularly scheduled meeting date a <br />notice had been properly posted in accordance with the By -Laws. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Acting Chairman, Mr. White, in a <br />of Mr. Dempster. Those members also present were Mr. Westra and Mr. Rand, form <br />A quorum. Mrs. Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra i and seconded by Mr. Rand, t was unani <br />mouslys <br />Vr: To accept for the records, the Minutes of the regular meeting <br />October 12, 1981 and the Special Meeting of October 20, 1981, copies of which h <br />previously been mailed to all members. <br />The Acting Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in off <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Rand, it was unani <br />mouslys <br />Vas To approve and pay checks and bills in the amount of $7,57$.7 <br />for 667-0 and $991.66 for Section 8. A list of these checks is attached heret <br />Z hd made a part of these Minutes, and had been previously mailed to all members <br />e Acting Chairman thereupon declared said :motion carried and said vote in eff <br />At this point in the meeting, Mr. Johnson, Vice - Chairman, entered and t, <br />over the meeting. <br />At this time Mrs. Pierce reported on the financial condition of the <br />Authority, declaring the balance in the BayBank checking account as of October <br />30, 1981, to be $1,502.49. During the month, a State subsidy check was receiv <br />in the amount of $8,452 which was deposited into this account. Therefore, aftel <br />payment of the above checks, the balance was $10,034.90. <br />The balance in the M.M.D.T. savings account was $17,890.66, $7,300 of which <br />were Modernization funds which were being held for future payments. It was also <br />reported that all rents were paid for the month of November, totalling $7,641. <br />Inasmuch as the checking account showed the large balance reported above, <br />a motion was made by Mr. White and seconded by Mr. Rand, and unanimously: <br />VOTEDs To write a check on the BayBank account to be deposited into the <br />M.M.D.T. savings account for interest, in the amount of $8,500, and also to accept <br />the Financial Report as read. <br />The Vice - Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effec <br />f HousinngheT over ande$iicesa n hesTowneo a to ecent M.A.P C " <br />�If Women voters who were g a mm's of fhe <br />present to discuss this report. <br />1. <br />
