READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting - March 9, 1981 <br />The Reading Housing Authority met in regular session on Monday, March , <br />1981 at 7 :30 P.M. at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts. <br />In the absence of the Chairman, Vice - Chairman Frank Johnson called the meet- <br />ing to order. Those members also present were Mr. Ogden, and Mr. Westra, forking <br />a quorum. Mrs. Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Ogden and seconded by Mr. Westra, it was <br />unanimously: <br />VOTEDs To accept for the record, the Minutes of the regular meeting held <br />February 9, 1981, copies of which had previously been mailed to all members. <br />The Vice - Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Ogden, it was <br />unanimously: <br />VOTED': To approve and pay checks and bills in the amount of $10,132.61 <br />for 667 -C and to ratify the signing of checks in the amount of $848.33 for Section <br />8, and approve a check in the amount of $1,645 for the Modernization Program. A <br />list of these checks is attached hereto and made a part of these Minutes, and had <br />been previously mailed to all members. <br />The Vice - Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in eff ct. <br />It was reported at this time that the balance in the BayBank Middlesex <br />checking account for 667 -C was $537.32 as of February 28, 1981. <br />If all of the above checks were paid at this time,: this account would <br />show a deficit balance of $2,639.29• Therefore, a motion was made by Mr. <br />Ogden and seconded by Mr. Westra, and unanimouslyr <br />VOTED: To withdraw $3,000 from the M.M.D.T. savings account to be <br />posited into the BayBank checking account to cover current expenses. <br />The Vice- Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in <br />The balance in the M.MDT account as of the date of this meeting was <br />$30,669.59 plus interest. <br />Mrs. Pierce also reported that all rents had been collected for the <br />month of March, totalling $6,956.00. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Westra and seconded by Mr. Ogden, it was unanimo <br />VOTED: To accept the Financial Report as read. <br />The Vice- Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. <br />Mr. White entered the meeting at this point, making a total of four <br />bers present. <br />1. <br />
