READING HOUSING AUTHORITY
Minutes of the Special Meeting - 11/22/83
The Reading Housing Authority met in Special Session at 7 :30 P.M. on Tuesday,
November 22, 1983, at 22 Frank D. Tanner Dive in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts.
Proper notice of this meeting was posted by the Executive Director in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 39 of the General Laws as amended.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Dempster. Those members
also present were Mrs. Swain, Mr. Westra, and Mr. Dempster, forming a quorum. Mrs.
Pierce, the Executive Director and James Muise, the Maintenance Man were also present.
Mr. Jeffrey Cook, Architect on the office ex
,pansion project was present to
review with the Board, his revised plans based on last month's suggestions. Copies
of his Minutes of said meeting were distributed to those present to document the
various changes.
The revisions made on his new sketches reflected accurately the Authority's
wishes and after discussion of a few minor details, Mr. Cook gave a brief recap of
the steps that are to be taken from this point and the time table involved. He
said that he would bring in the final plans which will be presented to E.C.C.J. for
the Board's approval at the January meeting, and from that point on, he estimates
that it could be into August before the final completion of the Project. His hopes
were, however, that it could be speeded up along the way if possible, and he would
do all he could to accomplish the job in a shorter time period.
• ".r. Cook left the meeting at this point.
There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time,
a motion was duly made and seconded and unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting,
and the Chairman thereupon declared the meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
r
Respectfully submitted,
Janet Pierce, Executive Director.
and Secretary
