READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />MINUTES OF THE Regular BOARD MEETING, September 10, 2012 <br />A regular business meeting of the Reading Housing Authority was held on Monday, September 10, 2012 <br />at 5:30 P.M at the office of the Reading Housing Authority the town of Reading, Mass. The meeting was <br />called to order at 5:30 P.M. with the Chair, Kevin Mulvey presiding. now members present and <br />forming a quorum were Diane Cohen, Timothy J. Kelley, Mary Connors and Karen L. Flammia well as <br />the Secretary/Executive Director, Lyn Whyte. Mary Connors was absent <br />Minutes Move Diane Second Mary Vote 4-0 <br />13 -014 VOTED: To accept for the record the Minutes of the Annual Business Meeting of August 6, <br />2012, as presented. <br />Finances Move Mary Second Diane Vote 5 -0 <br />13 -015 VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll/billroll for the period for Accounts Payable Check <br />441844228 Payroll Summary as presented for August, 2012. Section 8 Voucher Program, #7381- <br />7472 as presented. <br />Finances Move Diane Second Mary Vote 5 -0 <br />13 -016 VOTED: To certify receipt of monthly operating statements for all RHA programs for the month <br />end July, 2012 of the current fiscal year. <br />Net Income Limits -State -aided Housing Programs Move Diane Second Karen Vote 5-0 <br />13 -017 VOTED: To approve the following income limits per DHCD correspondence by household size <br />for determining admission to State -aided housing programs effective August 9, 2012: <br />Boston Area: 1 person $45,500 <br />2 persons $52,000 <br />3 persons $58,500 <br />4 persons $65,000 <br />5 persons $70,200 <br />6 persons $75,400 <br />7 persons $80,600 <br />8 persons $85,600 <br />Personnel Matters: <br />- None at this time <br />Report of Programs: <br />- Vacancy Report- Mitch Hudzik, State Program Coordinator provided her monthly report. RHA had <br />one vacancy in the elderly development for August and one in our family development. The family <br />unit will he leased to another tenant who is presently over housed. She will lease up the two bedroom <br />unit on September IP and we will then begin an extensive rehab on the three bedroom unit left <br />' empty by this administrative transfer. <br />Sec 8 Report- Kathy Rolli provided a monthly report to board indicating that 124 vouchers are leased <br />for September with two vouchers still out with participants searching for housing. In addition, she <br />provided an updated utilities schedule used in our Section 8 program. <br />- Resident Service Coordinator- Current Tannerville Newsletter provided. Our annual cookout will he <br />on September 12' and an invitation to attend was extended to all Board members. <br />
