Town of Reading
Y Meeting Minutes
Bill Brown updated the Board on the building committee, and stated that the committee was
leaning towards Wood End, but had to wait on a determination of the wetlands by the
conservation administrator. -
Bob explained that to solve the dogs running loose issue that was raised by a concerned lot
owner of Laurel Hill would cost $140,000 per year in overtime to open and close the gate, seven
days a week because Laurel Hill -by our regulations must be open one half hour before sunrise
and closed one half hour after sunset. The Board cannot regulate inconsiderate people.
Bob noted that the seasonal help will be back the week of the 14ih and clean up has begun. Bob
also stated that we are no longer self - supporting in part due to the low interest rates on the PC
fund.
Sales are steady and receipts are on track.
Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 6:50 PM. The next meeting of the Trustees will be Tuesday, April 5,
2016.
Respectfi ally submitted,
it %r, G /
William C. Brown
Secretary
Page 12
