Docktor made motion to accept. <br />Friedmann upheld due to missing information of the Board voting to focus on the unmet <br />health needs of 25 -65 year olds on December 9t" 2015. DiLauro will make changes to the <br />December meeting minutes and will present them at the February Board of Health Meeting. <br />Erica McNamara from Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse ( RCASA) described her <br />position with the Town of Reading and how she works with the community. She discussed <br />how RCASA can participate and be beneficial with focusing on the unmet health needs for <br />25 -65 year olds. She will provide DiLauro with handouts and resources that she already <br />has. <br />McNamara suggested multiple ways the Board of Health can reach out to the community. <br />Placing articles in town newsletter and on RCN are ways for the Health Department to be <br />recognized by the community. <br />Friedmann, Docktor, Shurland, and DiLauro discussed how Flyers and pamphlets will be <br />posted on the Board of Health web page about future events and Public Health updates. The <br />pamphlets will discuss healthy needs, habits and awareness. <br />Friedmann, Docktor, Shurland and DlLauro discussed Game Night for the 25 -65 year old <br />population and how to advertise the event; advertising the event on RCN, posting the <br />event on the town website and posting the event in the Monthly Newsletter. <br />Page I 1 <br />
