His term expires in June 2016; <br />however, renewal is an easier process. <br />• Review and Approval of recent meeting minutes. The minutes of the February 10, <br />2016, meeting were reviewed and approved as written. <br />• Earth Day 2016 <br />• Ray and Joan each reported that they had made phone calls to potential <br />exhibitors, but have not received responses yet. <br />• Laurie Ann reported that several exhibitors have confirmed their participation - <br />Cooling Unlimited, ChargePoint, Ray Porter (case study of residential geothermal <br />heating /air conditioning, solar thermal hot water, energy efficiency upgrades), <br />RMLD. <br />Climate Action Plan <br />• The Committee re- affirmed Intent to update the Reading Climate Action Plan with <br />focus on statement of goals and priorities aligned with what the Town of Reading <br />needs most and is most likely to succeed. <br />• There was some discussion of the history of the RMLD four -town local energy <br />action plan (LEAP) for the benefit of new members. This plan, developed for <br />RMLD with MAPC grant funding was presented to the RMLD Board and to the <br />Town Manager and officials, but not formally adopted or approved. The RMLD <br />Energy Efficiency Engineer was let go before the plan was finalized and there <br />were changes in leadership at RMLD shortly afterwards. <br />• Based on discussion with Jane Parenteau of RMLD at our February 10th meeting, <br />there are several programs proposed in LEAP that are aligned with RMLD's <br />Page 1 1 <br />
