Clay advised there were no objections from abutting neighbors. <br />Meade made motion to approve variance and issue $50 violation for being in violation of <br />Board of Health Keeping of Animals Regulation 2.4.1 before variance was granted. Motion <br />was seconded by Friedmann. Motion passed 2:0:0 <br />Acceptance of Minutes <br />Minutes of November 3, 2014 were presented. Meade made motion to approve, seconded <br />by Friedmann. Motion passed 2:0:0 <br />Minutes of November 17, 2014 were presented. Meade made motion to approve, seconded <br />by Friedmann. Motion passed 2:0:0 <br />Strategic Plan Discussion <br />Strategic Plan revisions and comments were discussed. Another meeting will be scheduled <br />prior to presentation to the Board of Selectmen. Bob LeLacheur and Jean Delios will be <br />invited to attend. <br />Open session for topics not reasonably anticipated 48 hours in advance of the meeting. <br />Clay is in process of applying for substance abuse grant under the public health coalition for <br />use in targeting underage drinking and other substance abuse. The State gives priority to <br />recognized health districts; Melrose, Wakefield and Reading are considered as a district. <br />Melrose will act as lead on the grant. This is a $100,000, three year grant with two three - <br />year renewals. <br />page I 1 <br />
