Clay stated other <br />communities do not have regulations regarding portable restroom units. Friedmann noted <br />that this polity was adopted in May without any input from the Board. The Board did not <br />want to establish a regulation. Friedmann requested the guidelines in the town manager's <br />policy be included with the permit application. <br />West Nile, EEE Discussion <br />The literature from the Hamilton Board of Health to prevent West Nile and EEE was <br />reviewed. Friedmann inquired if it would be possible to obtain the statistical Information <br />from Hamilton pertaining to spraying and its effect on the mosquito population. Clay will <br />contact Leslie Whelan, Health Agent for Hamilton. Clay advised that David Henley of the <br />Eastern Middlesex Mosquito Control Project would be available to speak with the Board if <br />further information was requested. <br />Strategic Plan Discussion <br />Clay advised stakeholders were contacted and 18 are expected to attend the meeting on <br />September 22, 2014. Clay will contact Riverside Community Care to see if a representative <br />from the mental health faction can attend. <br />Minutes of August 12, 2014 were presented. Singer made motion to accept, seconded by <br />Meade. Motion passed 3:0 <br />Meeting adjourned 6:35 pm <br />Page 1 1 <br />
