Motion passed 3:0 <br />Minutes of May 13 were presented. <br />Friedmann made motion to accept, seconded by Singer <br />Motion passed 3:0 <br />Waiver of Fall Street Faire Permit Fees: Motion made by Friedmann to table until next <br />meeting. <br />Oyes <br />Vitale advised that although some improvement has been made on previous issues, now <br />there are new and different critical violations in the kitchen. She stated that a point person <br />who is ServSafe certified is necessary in the kitchen at all times. The owners are certified, <br />however, they cannot be in the kitchen all the time. Vitale stated if Jose, (present sous <br />chef) were properly trained he could take over and monitor the kitchen. Kevin Ye stated he <br />had contacted a consultant to come in to train the staff. He will provide the name of the <br />consultant. <br />Friedmann requested a plan of action be established requiring Jose to be certified, to <br />Increase the frequency of inspections, and to hire a consultant to train the staff. Meade <br />asked what consequences could be initiated if violations continue to occur. Clay stated that <br />large fines could be issued, a suspension of the permit, or a suspension of part of the <br />operation or non - renewal of the permit were options. Singer stated he felt the Board was <br />being forced to take these actions. Ye stated that he understood. Friedmann made a <br />motion to accept the plan of action, seconded by Meade.
