Meade made motion to approve, seconded <br />by Singer. Motion passed 3:0. <br />Violation - 44 Winslow Road <br />Erickson advised that the above licensee is appealing the $50 ticket to Woburn District <br />Court for violating the Keeping of Animals Regulation. Given the facts of the case, the <br />Board decided not to pursue the fine. <br />Letter to Stakeholders <br />A draft copy of a letter to be sent to participants of the strategic planning meeting thanking <br />them for their Input was given to board members. It will be reviewed and comments <br />submitted. <br />Health Director Update <br />Erickson advised that vaccine has been pre - ordered for the upcoming flu season. Based on <br />the number of those aged 65 and older from the past season, 400 doses of High -Dose <br />vaccine are reserved for that age group and 800 for the 18 to 64 age group. He attended <br />meetings regarding opiates and suicide prevention. Reorganization of the Mystic Valley <br />Medical Reserve Corps Is taking place beginning July 1, 2015. Drive- through inoculation <br />clinics was a topic of discussion at their meeting. <br />A number of communicable disease reports have been received. Without a public health <br />nurse, processing has been difficult with some having to be returned to the State for their <br />follow up. The Board expressed their desire to move forward to obtain the services of a <br />public health nurse and health director as soon as possible. <br />Page I 1 <br />
