Meade made motion to accept, seconded <br />by Singer. Approved 2:0 <br />Keeping Animals Application <br />Application to keep chickens from Richard Hand, of 20 Meadow Brook Lane was presented <br />for approval. Included was a letter of opposition from Robert ). Mclsaac of 267 Grove Street <br />whose property abuts the rear of the applicant's property. Clay made a site visit to view the <br />proposed location of chicken coop and provided a description of the property. As the <br />application met all requirements of the Keeping of Animals Regulations, the permit was <br />approved. <br />Health Director's Report <br />A new fingerprinting law has been enacted this year for all Ice cream truck vendors. <br />Documentation has to be provided first to local permitting authority, Reading Police <br />Department. Licensing will then be issued from the Health Department after completion of <br />truck inspection. <br />Other business and Items not reasonably anticipated at the time of posting: <br />Discussion regarding the definition of an abutter in Board of Health Regulations will be <br />addressed in the future so that it properly applies to the regulation. <br />Clay met with the school department regarding their summer programs. She had requested <br />details of the programs prior to the meeting and was told they were not sending them but <br />they would be available at the meeting. Their programs appear to be duplicates of those <br />offered by Reading Recreation which fall under the camp regulations. There Is an <br />exemption for class based programs with no high risk instruction or exemption if the school <br />Is licensed by the Office of Child Care Services.
