Minutes for the 3501" Celebration Trust <br />March 28, 2001 <br />1 to Order 7:40 PM March 28 2001 <br />W <br />In attendance: <br />Mark Cardono, chairperson <br />Bill McLaughlin, Member <br />Kurt Habel, Member <br />Everett Blodgett, Member <br />Guests: <br />William Lavoie, Reading Summerfest <br />Alan Ulrich, First Congregational Church <br />Pat Holland, PSST <br />Rosemary Lewis, PSST <br />Bill Endslow, PSST <br />Ellen Mounteer, Coolidge Gardens Committee <br />Each group made a presentation of what their application was ahont, and clarified any nuestions the mernhers had <br />There was still much discussion on each apmlication We voted on the First Congregational Church application for <br />$2,670.00 from the Historic Preservation Trust. <br />Motion by Everrett Blodgett to award $2,670.00 to the First Congregational Church from the Historic Preservation <br />Trust. <br />Bill McLaughlin 2nd <br />i <br />to 4 -0 -0 in favor of the grant. <br />d�e was discussion about the Millen ium party, and Reading Celebrations, Inc. There was $5,000.00 held back by <br />ing Celebrations, Inc. This money was never returned to the trust. We feel that a report of expenses should be <br />given to the trust, and all excess money should be returned. The Reading Celebrations, Inc. was required to turn <br />back all proceeds from the event. We are unclear if this occurred. <br />Next Meeting — April 4, 2001 <br />Adjourned 9 :34 <br />
