Hand opened the meeting at 7:07 PM. <br />J. Feudo introduced Dan Foley as the newest member of the Rec. Committee. Dan stated <br />he is happy to be on the committee, he has two kids coming through the school system and <br />is very interested in helping. <br />J. Feudo introduced Greg Chastain and Chrissy Cerretani from the Voice of Hope. Voices of <br />Hope (VOH) is a registered, not - for - profit, 501(c)(3) organization with over 100 members <br />who share a passion for the performing arts and a desire to join the fight against cancer by <br />raising awareness and funds for cancer research. With music as their voice, these <br />inspirational performers, whose lives have all been affected in some way by cancer, share <br />stories of hope, loss, and courage through, song, dance, and testimonials, allowing for an <br />intimate and inspiring look at our collective fight against cancer. <br />The money goes to support of cancer research at Mass General. Specifically, In 2013, <br />Voices of Hope began supporting the new Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted <br />Therapies at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. <br />Greg and Chrissy were proposing a tennis tournament here in Reading. It would be a <br />double tournament with approximately 40 people participating and would be open on a first <br />come first serve basis. <br />N. Swain made a motion to accept the July, 22nd 2014 meeting minutes. K. Kaminer <br />seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor by vote of 4 -0 -1. <br />The committee reviewed the minutes for the October 14th meeting. J. Borawski made a <br />motion to accept the minutes. A. Chase seconded the motion.
