Hand opened the meeting at 7:04 PM. <br />September 2013 Minutes - N. Swain Motion, K. Kaminer second. 6 -0 -0 in favor of <br />accepting the September 2013 Minutes. <br />Town Civil Engineer Arthur Markos presented the Washington Park Master Plan with two <br />options for renovations of courts. He mentioned the walkway would be stamped concrete <br />and the courts would be brand new. They will also need to relocate a water line to install <br />the new water fountain. <br />A long discussion ensued by the committee. The committee discussed the possibility of re- <br />orientating the basketball court to go north to south to have less impact on the neighboring <br />houses. It was also recommended to keep the court as close to the path as possible <br />without impacting the established trees. <br />J. Feudo mentioned that the timeline would be a public hearing in November and pending <br />approval, out to bid by the 15Y of the year with the hopes of breaking ground in March. <br />A. Chase made a motion to accept the Washington Park plan as noted as plan #2 with the <br />changes as proposed above reflecting the rotation of the basketball court. K. Kaminer <br />seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed in favor of accepting the Washington Park plan as noted as plan #2 with the <br />changes as proposed above reflecting the rotation of the basketball court by a vote of 6 -0- <br />0. <br />Page i 1 <br />2013 -09 -03 <br />
