D'Addario <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />Agenda Item: Review and approve minutes of recent meetings. The minutes for May 14, <br />2014 were approved with minor edits. <br />RMLD LED Light Project Grant: Laurie Ann related that the RMLD has a LED street light <br />grant pending with an answer at the end of June 2014. <br />Recycle Bins at Town Parkins Lots: Jean Delios, town planner, e- mailed loan suggesting <br />that Ron D'Addario should try again to gain bin space with Mr. Mawn, president of Northern <br />Bank at the M.F. Charles properties. Ron will write a draft letter and send It to Joan for <br />review. We will resurrect our efforts to Install a recycle bin in the M.F. Charles parking lot. <br />Friends and Family Day on Saturday. June 14th: <br />Dave submitted a print -out for the voluntary Opt In program in Reading which uses <br />reverse 911 calls to warn residents of impending dilemmas. The committee discussed using <br />the Opt in program for residents to alert them to lower their electrical demand to help <br />reduce critical peak electrical loads. <br />Michele added that commercial electrical accounts are offered incentives to reduce <br />their electrical demand during peak load situations by Enemoc through ISO. Basically <br />businesses get a credit for reducing their load at peak times. She said that it is the <br />commercial companies that use the bulk of the load. <br />Page 1 1 <br />
