Confirming next meeting <br />Minutes <br />No meeting notes were reviewed at this meeting <br />All of the present members and associate members of the RHC <br />attended the Bylaw Committee meeting held at the Reading Police <br />Station in the Public Meeting room. <br />See Bylaw Committee meeting minutes for a fuller description of <br />the discussion points. <br />A synopsis of the Bylaw Committee (BC)comments on the <br />proposed Demolition Delay Bylaw and the proposed amendments <br />being sponsored by the RHC is as follows: <br />Bylaw <br />• BC supported RHC Recommendation 1 regarding the <br />Committee <br />number of members required to vote for an Owners Appeal <br />of addition of a structure to the List (was 5, RHC <br />recommends 4) <br />• BC did not support the RHC Recommendation 2 (the <br />removal of the appeal to the 6 month delay) but they did <br />support the "starting of the 6 month clock" if the Board of <br />Selectman denies the owners' appeal. The BC felt this <br />would limit the number of "frivolous" appeals. <br />• The BC did not support the RHC Recommendation 3 <br />(adding the words "following the demolition of the property" <br />Date: Wednesday October 17, 2012 Page 1 of 2 <br />
