Confirming next meeting <br />The Meeting Minutes Tuesday February 11, 2013 were approved <br />Revise <br />Minutes <br />as amended. (RS motioned -SR seconded, vote 5 -0 in favor) <br />and Send <br />RP <br />to Town <br />Clerk <br />The CPDC approved the plaque at their February 25t meeting. <br />10 Pierce St <br />Owner would like the RCH to select the final selection -both options <br />Study is <br />Plaque <br />have the same photo and same text- Option A (narrow text) or <br />currently <br />Option B (wider text.)RHC selected Option B. <br />ongoing <br />SRS motioned -CM seconded, vote 5 -0 in favor of Option B <br />MC,VA and RS visited the house. House is being renovated -the <br />1850's section is being gutted down to the studs. Laura Gemme asked if the <br />CM to <br />Website <br />RHC want to have our web pages updated. Meeting to be held. <br />attend <br />CM volunteered to attend <br />meeting <br />Intent will be have a standard design, only the date of the house <br />will be different. After looking at a variety of plaque designs, the <br />Historic <br />RHC members choose an oval shape with the words "Historic <br />Plaque <br />q <br />Property" along the top, the house date in the middle and Reading <br />Program <br />Historic Commission along the bottom. The house date will be <br />Pricing <br />VA/CM <br />written in large font with the other words is a much smaller font <br />size. VA to follow up. CM to follow up with family member who <br />bought a similar plaque and ask about pricing. <br />Preservation <br />The Window Woman, Alison Hardy, agreed to speak at the RCH <br />Month <br />May 5 presentation at the Library.
