We voted to add $1.55 remaining from 2012 to the 2104 grant bringing
the total to $5,311.44.
Lynrvdistributed the grant application packets. Applications 14 -01, 14 -02, 14 -06, 14 -06 and 14 -15 are
incomplete and therefore ineligible. Colleen will call and invite the remaining applicants to speak to the Council
on November 4 at 7 P.M. Most of the applicants are familiar people or groups. The Council needs to find a
more effective way to attract new applicants. Lynne gave us a supply of RCC cards to give new prospects.
In the future grant applications will be kept in Town Hall. RCC mail will remain in Paula Schena's office, and
she will contact the Treasurer via email when it needs to be picked up.
Lynne thanked Donna for the design work on the poster and business cards.
Since the council will need a new member by the end of the year Lynne asked us to look for someone to fill the
seat. Colleen will post the opportunity on the Town website and in Your Community Connection.
The Council members were asked to review the grant applications prior to November 4 and prepare any
questions they may have for the applicants.
The meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
