The Action Plan <br />maintains a focus on the objectives from the Library's 2009 -2014 Strategic Plan. Ms. Urell <br />highlighted the emphasis on "Virtual Library Services" and digital media resources, pointing <br />out the need for education and training for the public as well as staff. <br />• Motion: To approve FY 2015 Action Plan ( Cherrie Dubois / Vicki Yablonsky ) <br />• Vote: Unanimous approval. <br />Budget <br />Ms. Urell presented the Draft FY 2015 budget. Trustees discussed budget and <br />recommended that a narrative that emphasizes changing needs and considerations based <br />on planning for a new library and moving to temporary quarters. Ms. Urell will meet with <br />the Town Manager in late November or early December to discuss draft budget. The Board <br />requests that Trustee liaisons attend this meeting. The Town Budget will be reviewed by <br />Selectmen on January 14 and 21, 2014. <br />Home Rule Charter Review @ Senior Center (Scheduled for December 2, 2013) <br />Ms. Urell reminded the Trustees of the meeting and clarified the date. There was discussion <br />about what revisions are proposed, if there would be an impact on the Trustees, and a Town <br />Personnel Committee that was in place before the Charter. The Trustees discussed the <br />possibility of introducing this topic at the upcoming meeting. If a Personnel Committee is <br />formed, the Trustees would recommend that the new committee include a representative <br />from the Board of Library Trustees. <br />Page 1 1 <br />
